In 1991 the Oklahoma State Election Board made history by becoming the first and only state at the time to begin requiring all state, county, and school elections to be printed with exact specifications for electronic voting machines.  Meeting strict specifications was something Royal Printing Company was accustomed to since we had been printing Oklahoma County's election ballots for many years. Royal Printing was awarded the state contract and to this date continues holding the bid and now prints the ballots for seventy-six of Oklahoma's counties for most national, state and local elections.(from history page)
